Every hand follows the same six stages. Know them and you can sit at any table.
Two players post the blinds, then everyone gets two private hole cards.
Starting left of the big blind, each player folds, calls or raises based on their two cards.
Three community cards are dealt face up, followed by another round of betting.
A fourth community card appears. Bets usually get more serious here.
The fifth and last community card is dealt, then the final round of betting.
Players still in the hand reveal their cards. The best five-card hand, made from any mix of your two and the five shared cards, wins the pot.
